The main season for cruising in Alaska runs from may to September due to the cold winter, July and august are the most popular although they do book up early. So now to which cruise company you are looking for, well before we talk about the cruise lines themselves there are a couple of things to think about when choosing. Firstly the size of the ship are you looking for lots of activities, choices of restaurant, spas lots of shops and casinos etc or are you after that more intimate and smaller ship?
